Investment Philosophy:

Dean Cockell believes that financial planning is an area that should be taken very seriously. People spend more time planning a vacation than they do for their entire financial future. Many end up working their entire careers and have very little to show for it. Through proper financial planning, Dean Cockell helps people achieve their financial dreams.

He works with clients from all income and financial backgrounds – from those starting out to those who are well established.

Elder Planning is becoming an increasingly more complex issue for individuals and families alike.

The planning for our elders late in life is more important and more complex now than ever in history.

Dean holds a specific professional designation in this area and is committed to helping seniors with seniors issues from financial to health and family estate planning, ensuring they are able to seek and find the appropriate advice in all related senior’s issues not only the financial issues.

My Code of Ethics:

Whenever you or I find that I processed a transaction incorrectly, I take full responsibility to rectify any error- no argument.

I GIVE SINCERE ADVICE -I don’t tell you what I think you want to hear. What possible value can I add if I mimic your thoughts?

I GIVE DIFFICULT ADVICE-I don’t choose a path of least resistance.

I GIVE THE ADVICE THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR YOU.

I continue to read all the outputs of industry research departments, as well as books, magazines, watch business TV, attend seminars, and take courses. No one tries harder to be knowledgeable and in turn give good advice.

I try to understand your situation and do my best to help, whether it is investments, financial planning, employment prospects, special requests or favorite recipes!

You deserve great service from Portfolio Strategies Corp. I will push other departments to ensure that every effort is made to ensure that your individual needs are met. Even when it requires special handling through unconventional channels.

In some measure I am responsible for your well-being and it is not a responsibility I take lightly.

This has been my standard of ethics in dealing with clients,associates, friends, and acquaintances. I believe you benefit by knowing that is the standard of ethics I apply in our relationship.

I can assure you that during the years or even decades that we work together, you will never find another investment advisor who will care more about you and your family, or be more deeply committed to helping you attain your financial goals.

I promise:
• to invest your capital as carefully as I do my own, because I know that your hopes for your family’s future are every bit as important to you as mine are to me.
• to tell you the plain truth all the time, even when you may not want to hear it. When I don’t know the answer to a question, I promise to admit “I don’t know” and then to do my utmost to get you the answer.
• never, never to tell you I can do something I can’t, nor tell you I am going to do something, and then not do it.

You will encounter financial advisors smarter than I am, and certainly some who are cheaper. Let me tell you though, that you’ll almost certainly never find someone who is both smarter and cheaper, but you will never find an advisor you can trust more implicitly than me.

If we work together in that spirit of mutual trust, there’s nothing within reason that we cannot accomplish. And perhaps the most important thing is: you’ll never have to worry about your finances again.

You see, I insist that my clients make a plan, and then stick to the plan. Beyond that, I encourage them to hope, because I know that investing, optimism is the only long-term realism.

But I absolutely forbid my clients to worry, because in a very real sense that’s what you’re hiring me to do.

Understand clearly that you are being asked to entrust your family’s financial future to me, not to a particular financial plan, not to an investment portfolio – to me. And I am offering to accept that responsibility.
